Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Forma. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating a Forma account, accessing the Forma dashboard, or using any store created on Forma ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, including a valid phone number used for one-time-passcode (OTP) verification and sign-in via magic link. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Forma accounts are intended for merchants operating a business — customer accounts on individual storefronts are governed separately by each store's own policies.

3. The Starter subscription & billing

Forma is offered as a single subscription plan ("Starter") at Rs 3,000 per month, billed in advance through Stripe. New accounts may receive a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial period ends unless you cancel beforehand.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
  • An active subscription is required to keep your store(s) active and accessible to customers; a lapsed or failed payment may result in your store being suspended until payment is resolved.
  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by law.
  • Prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and may be updated with advance notice to active subscribers.

4. Merchant responsibilities

As a merchant using Forma, you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your product listings, pricing, and inventory.
  • Fulfilling orders placed through your store, including packaging, shipping, and customer communication.
  • Complying with applicable Pakistani consumer-protection, tax (including GST), and e-commerce regulations for your business.
  • Configuring and maintaining your own payment gateway (e.g. JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer) and shipping carrier (e.g. TCS, Leopards, PostEx) credentials within your store's settings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Forma to:

  • List or sell goods or services that are illegal under applicable Pakistani law.
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, or deceptive pricing or advertising.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other merchants' stores, or Forma's infrastructure.
  • Upload content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

We may suspend or remove stores that violate this section without prior notice.

6. Payment processing & third-party services

Forma is a software platform, not a payment processor or courier. Customer payment methods (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer, COD) are configured by each merchant using the merchant's own accounts and credentials with those providers, and funds settle directly between the customer's payment provider and the merchant. Forma is not a party to, and accepts no liability for, transactions between merchants and customers, or for the acts, omissions, fees, or service quality of third-party payment gateways or shipping carriers integrated with a store.

Forma's own subscription billing is processed by Stripe, subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

7. Content & intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload to your store (product images, descriptions, branding, etc.). You grant Forma a limited license to host, store, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service. Forma and its licensors retain all rights to the Forma platform itself, including its themes, software, and branding.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to Forma, other merchants, or their customers. You may close your account at any time; outstanding fees remain payable.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business arising from your use of the Service, including losses arising from third-party payment or shipping providers integrated with your store.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active merchants via email or dashboard notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
